Henna - Lawsonia Inermis

Lawsonia inermis is the tree that gives the distinct red dye used in henna tattoo.

I haven’t yet processed this into henna tattoos as my tree is just now getting large enough to start harvesting. I look forward to exploring how to turn this into a dye resource in the coming year. This plant also has a variety of medicinal uses in different regions of the world.
