Wild Dagga - Leonotis Leonorus

Delightful mint family splash of color that is drought tolerant and multiple medicinal/recreational uses for its compounds

Wild dagga is made into teas and infusions for the entire flowering tops including leves, seeds, flowers and stems for many different ailments including dysentery and muscle cramps.
There are mild sedative effects when the leaves and flowers are smoked.
I love how I planted this in my yard over a decade ago and it volunteers every year even where there is no water but plenty of sun.
