Cumin - Cuminum cyminum

Cuminum cyminum is a common spice used throughout the middle east and has been adopted into some mexican and Tex Mex cuisine.

I loved growing this annual with its delightful little pink flowers and tasty fresh seeds. I always prefer to eat fennel or cumin seeds fresh and green after the flower falls off than dried.
