Fenugreek - Trigonella foenum-graecum
I use this hardy bean family seed in my curries or I make a lovely tea from it.
With edible and medicinal uses and very low maintenance (semi-arid crop), it’s a nice plant to grow here in Baja. As with other fabaceae, it also can help add nitrogen to our soil. The seeds or sprouts or fresh greens are all edible. This is also believed to be the part of curry blends that imparts the lovely maple syrup aroma (including for our armpits).
