Butterfly Pea Vine - Clitoria ternatea
This arousing vine adds that unique splash of blue to your garden (or your fabrics or your tea or rice).
This makes a wonderful tea that is the same pastel shade of blue or you can infuse it into alcohol, rice or fiber as well and the color will take.
If you add a splash of lemon (or acid) to your tea or alcohol, the color changes to a delightful pinkish purple.
It is purported to affect female libido (I wonder why?). And is used as a medicinal in Ayurvedic medicine: antistress, antidepressant, tranquilizing, sedative.
