Curry Tree - Murraya koenigii
Curry trees thrive in my garden. Self seeding or spreading by roots underground (I am not quite sure). The small blue berries are edible when ripe (not the seed) but I usually only eat one or two when in season and I’m in the garden. The leaves are quite a treat in, you guessed it, curries. Added with the other seeds and spices into the fat, it’s lovely to fry these for a bit before simmering in your curry. I’ve also cooked them into eggs. I’m excited to continue to learn more ways to use the unique curry leaf flavor.
