Pindo Palm, Jelly Palm - Butia odorata (possibly capitata)

Probably my favorite palm resource after dates and coconuts.

Pindo Palm is an fairly attractive mid sized Pinnate or feather palm. It will never get nearly as tall as a coco, queen, royal or washingtonian. I love to eat these wonderful tart treats. They are also popular to make into jelly, hence the name.
