Rose Apple - Syzygium malaccense

One of our guests remarked: “It’s got the texture of an apple and the smell of a rose.”

I tend to believe it has the shape and texture of a pear and it’s floral aroma is delightful.
This delicious fruit can be enjoyed raw or cooked and the skin is used occasionally to make syrups.
The delightful mimosa like flower brings joy and vibrancy to the garden.
