We offer at least one class each month. Generally on the new or full moon or cardinal points
in Gaia's revolution: equinoxes, soulstices, beltane, samhain. We are happy to have you schedule a time for your group that suits your timing and needs.

Introduction to Permaculture Class

Intro to Permaculture

Are you interested in Permaculture?
Would you like some guidance around gardening in the Baja?

I am especially passionate about plant propagation and soil management. 
You’ll be welcome to leave with several plants from among the many food and medicine plants that I propagate.  

Cinamon Harvesting Hands On Class

Cinnamon Harvesting

Come and learn and participate in our cinnamon harvesting and take some fresh cinnamon home.

This hands-on experience entails scraping the outer bark and then carefully peeling the inner bark off the wood to get one of the most common spices used around the world. 

We will serve cinnamon leaf tea.   And I even have baby cinnamons available in my nursery.

Homemade Tinctures Herbalism Class

Intro to Herbalism

Come learn about infusing herbs into various menstruums: vinegar, alcohol (tincture), honey with herbs freshly harvested from our garden while discussing the pros and cons of each menstruum.

We’ll have some time in the garden as well to cultivate relationships with these green allies.  

Chocolate Making Cacao Ceremony

Chocolate Play

Come and learn about all aspects of chocolate. From the plant that we grow in our understory to the tricks of the chocolatier, you will fall in (love with) chocolate. This hand-on experience includes a cacao ceremony inspired by the Aztecs and Mayas.

Private Tours

You are welcome to come and take a one-half to one-hour tour of our garden, where you will learn some new techniques for soil management and plant propagation.

Gardening can go much deeper than buying seeds and potting soil.
You’ll be welcome to leave with several  plants from among the many food and medicine plants that I propagate.

Cooking from our Garden

As a chef, I cater flavorful healthful cuisine utilizing seasonal local and organic and wild foods as much as possible.

I love to eat flowers in my garden and drink teas made from fresh herbs.

I'll be guiding you in the garden and in the kitchen with this hands-on experience.

Intro to Soil Class

Intro to Soil

In terms of soil management, we practice vermicomposting, traditional kitchen composting, mulch basins at our greywater, hugelkulture and general mulching everywhere. Additionally, our rabbits and chickens give our soil all that wonderful fertilizer.

I have built a few cobb benches from the soil. You will learn and practice all about it!

Plant Propagation Class

Plant Propagation

Come and learn about plant propagation techniques: cuttings, ground layering, division, air layering...

A hands-on experience where you will be learning by doing.

You’ll be welcome to leave with several  plants from among the many food and medicine plants that I propagate. 

You can start your own seeds as well.
